this is very interesting. I think you need to fully develop your infliction and mic presence. When you do, i think your shit is going to have a very unique quality to it thanks to your voice. Your mixing could definitely use a little work too. sounds like the vocals just dropped on top of the beat.

lot of potential right here

return the favor please:

I love this beat, I love your vocal approach to the beat, but it sounded like it didn't mix right with the beats, I think you need to attack the beat more, other than that, this is a really good track if you work on it more!

Hmmm, I think you have a distinctive voice and you have good lyrics. I kind of felt like you were using eminems syntax...like your pulling a little toooo much from him as an inspiration. Its normal to do when your still finding yourself...but its definitely noticeable and something your going to want to eventually cure.

I think with your voice, you could do something different and really stand out. You also clearly fell off beat a few times and forced the lyrics in. the "Liven up the mood a the party, doing lines with Baluchi and marley" (or something like that) did not fit well...I don't know if its because you forgot how to deliver it when you wrote it..or..it just didn't fit. When this happens, don't accept it, add filler words or remove some words.

Anyway..thats my constuctive critisim..keep it up pimp...you got talent.

Return favor.

ok, the first 30 seconds was great, i was really feeling the style and attitude, but then it sounded sloppy

i also found it to be slightly off beat, yet, the lyrics really stuck out. the beat is a great vibe too

p.s. is your title a subliminal?
oh yeah... and thanks for nothing too

Man thats an awsome beat. where did you got that from.

well, you definitively need to fix your mixing and add layovers. Your flow is well structured but I think the delivery might overpower it a little bit. yeah the feedback is easy on this track, 1) fix the mixing, equalize your verse, remove the background hiss, compress it. 2) Add layovers. 3) Tip & Tail it correctly, the end is very abrupt, maybe you can fade out the beat at the end. 3) work on more structure and less delivery.

Other than that, awsome lyrics, great choice of beat and good ass confidence. enjoyed my listen :y:

thanks for using Soundcloud btw :y:

Short. Good for an outro. AhdduB is a play on Buddha right? Lol. It's a good choice of instrumental, what is it? The mixing feels non-existent, and I think your vocals are slightly too loud. Play with extra layers on your verses sometimes man! Helps your creativity flow free. Your flow is definitely decent, there were off beat areas and stretched out syllables in the lines that sounded awkward but you're getting there without a doubt. You have potential. Keep recording.

The whole part from "barbies ... hoes on me" was awesome. Every word rhymed. Pretty awesome. :y:

Vocals sounded a bit low on the beat. Other than that, very nice!

thanks for the feedback everyone, i really appreciate it. as far as the mixing goes, i tried adding compression n presence, I'm not exactly sure what else to do becuase the variety that protools has is overwhelming. they have shit that i have no idea what it could stand for like a knob that literally says "knee" and "attack". what does all that do? foreal I've just been randomly turning knobs till it sounds different than it did before.

well... hahaha if you just do that then its only going to sound worst... knee has to do with compression ratios. and attack is a parameter to almost every effect that states how fast will the effect start to make changes... but listen... you should not use Pro-Tools itself for mixing with effects before compression. (except time effects like reverb and delay)... use compression and EQ always, but straight from the desk not from Pro Tools... unless you can record into Adobe Audition, you can process the mixes on there. but otherwise, just... I dunno, take some lessons or something lol, it will help you loads :y:

hahaha daaaamn well fuckit hey thanks for explaining that..yeah theres a school that can teach you pro tools. i'm thinking about going there. so i always do compression last? and what does reverb do?

btw this is J Cole's new single Can't Get Enough beat.

depends, if you are mixing on the desk, then there is really no order. on Pro Tools directly I wont suggest it, but if you use Audition, maybe a soft knee after EQ and a boost compression after Reverb.

Reverb is the spatial effect. you add it to arm warmness to the vocals or to simulate large spaces.

but seriously man, you need to learn about that stuff, cuz you are not going to move any forward without knowing mixing basics

your flow was pretty alive..and your delivery was helping
quick conclusion: you might listen to this guy on TR...Ironic his flow is also alive but structured/controlled...while your was only alive..feel me
try to give it as much space as you can..but keep it on a leash :y:

Beat was pretty cool, not sure if you were flowing a bit to fast or a bit to slow, but you still stayed on beat the whole time, just something about the delivery was fishy, it gave it some difference tho, so it sounded cool anyways, lyrics were good, nothing bad to say bout that area, and your flow was pretty sick with better quality you would sound 10x better i guarantee that :D
