"Five or six songs leaked from the original version of Encore," he says. "So I had to go in and make new songs to replace them. In my head I was pissed off: 'Oh well. Songs leaked. Fuck it. I'm just going to take a bunch of fucking pills and go in there and have a party with myself.' I'm sure the more pills I took, the goofier I got."

Could have been another classic album, kind of sad in a way

Seriously? He didn't even make the beats himself.

There is going to be no video interview, however here's the download link to the photoshoot video that I got from EMINEM "RECOVERY" FANCLUB on Facebook - http://www.hulkshare.com/ckd9qcs2l06i...

A lot of the links/pics I've posted in the last year or so, if they're dead, there is a probability that I have archived it on Archive.today.

If you need to reach me for any reason, message me on Hip Hop Shelter.

It's a shame when people only see the fact that "Recovery" sold more in figures and call it his best works. It's undeniable that it sold more than Relapse but are these two albums his only work ? Definitely he is ignoring his older work.

Well he had litteraly no popularity before Not Afraid, Relapse sold well because of his fanbase that's it. But then when Not Afraid dropped, well everyone shat their pants.

It's like he was that underdog again like he said lmao. Now he's the most liked person on fcbk.

I wanted an album so rugged nobody could touch it.
Spent a million a track and went over my budget.
Now how in the fuck am I supposed to get out of debt?
I can't rap anymore, I just murdered the alphabet.

Meh, I think by this time, every music editor knows Em's first three albums are better than most of any rapper's discography. No point in stating the obvious anymore, but then again, it's always nice to see some homage and with Recovery being bestowed as his 'best work' IS ludicrous.

Hell, Em seems bored of Recovery and I'm glad he is to be honest, I find it hard to enjoy Recovery cuz of that production. A handful of tracks have dope beats but some are like...c'mon Em, you're better than that.

I think working with Prem at the cyphers was the best thing to do because he definitely talked with Prem seeing as Prem worked with Royce recently on the Writer's Block remix AND according to Royce, Em wants to work with him so :y:

I bet he knows his discography ,that's not my point here. What I'm saying is calling Recovery his best work is like ignoring those Albums (Leaving them out without consideration).I cant think of the basis that he used to make this statement which is not true.

Recovery seemed like he was desperate to give his work that appeal that most of the Music Fans are used to by now.His best has come out with producers who have better understanding of how Eminem operates ,no wonder after listening to Recovery so much we appreciate Relapse so much which has production by Dre.

Premo is the catalyst that Eminem needs to use in the future ,both of them haven't worked with each other to know each others comfort zones, but with Eminem showing some interest in his beats can spark the start of a new duo just like Em-Dre & he might be even feel comfortable working with him.

So what were the songs leaked before Encore? I can't put a finger on it.
I strike a still pose
And hit you with some ill flows
That don't even make sense like dikes using dildos
