Eminem should acquire the rights to Tupac's sex video coming out and release one of his own to go with it. That's all I wanna see Eminem in, tbh.

I wouldn't mind that, but who would he have sex with? I genuinely think Em hasn't had sex with anyone in years tbh.

I'd like another movie (porn or otherwize), whatever happens. I'm not sure if anything he does could top 8 Mile though. I don't know why, but I just love that film so much. I can relate to many of the themes in the film, but I think 8 Mile appeals more to me than other movies with similar themes because I'm a fan of hip hop. I'm not really into boxing, so I probably wouldn't enjoy a boxing film as much as a hip hop film, even if the themes and storylines were quite similar.

Yeah, called 360. Actually I just looked it up and the rumor was from last year, so my sense of time is screwy. But yeah, there were rumors he'd be in it and his spokesperson denied it, the end. You guys talking about Pac's sex tape reminded me.

Actually, IMDB still claim on their page that Eminem was in that movie. Although no one saw him.
On topic, I don't think he will ever do movies again, to be honest. I just don't see it happen.

http://www.billboard.biz/bbbiz/industry ... 7672.story

It will be distributed through Sony Pictures Entertainment.

The story of a left-handed boxer, written by Eminem and "Sons of Anarchy" creator Kurt Sutter, will be directed by Antoine Fuqua ("Training Day"). It had previously been set up at DreamWorks, but that company put it into turnaround in August. Since then, the picture has been considered by a number of other studios and producers.

The movie, expected to start production early next year, is being produced by Alan and Peter Riche, along with Paul Rosenberg and Stuart Parr of Eminem's Shady Films. Eminem's manager David Schiff will be an executive producer. The rapper is repped by ICM.

The picture tells the story of a welterweight boxer who, despite being left-handed, becomes a champion, but then tragedy strikes. He has to make a comeback in his life and in the ring.

Eminem, a native of the mean streets of Detroit, has said that he sees the story as analogous to his own life, in that he has had to fight for what he has achieved. Some reports have said he considers this a natural progression from "8 Mile," in which he co-starred with the late Brittany Murphy, about a working-class rapper who rises from the streets to find success. That movie won Eminem a surprising amount of praise from critics and grossed more than $240 million worldwide.

Can't believe people can be this blind.. Girl, you gotta read the news before you make statements. Eminem & his management was involved in accepting the Southpaw script. And when his representative confirmed the Random Acts of Violence rumor to the press early this year, he said

"Eminem's producing team -- including his manager, Paul Rosenberg -- have been developing this project for some time. Everyone involved hopes that it comes to fruition and the film goes into production."

Eminem is definitely interested in doing films. He has said so in numerous interviews since his comeback & that he's just looking for a script that feels right and connects. Eminem likes boxing & the whole fitness thing and the movie is about a champion boxer's rise to the top after being at the bottom which is basically Eminem's story now. And the RAOF script where he plays an ex-con working for the FBI is definitely interesting & I'd love to see Em in a role like that.

BTW, its official, Southpaw just got picked up by MGM-Sony. Production will begin next year. The film is being produced by Alan Riche & Peter Riche along with Paul Rosenberg and Stuart Parr (Shady Films). Eminem’s manager David Schiff will be the executive producer. Yay! :boxing: :boxing:

Calm your tits, boy.
Making a movie is not something that happens in two weeks. So, I won't believe it until I actually see it. Because there are still a lot of things that can go wrong.

And Eminem in a boxing movie is actually a pretty bad idea.
But, we will se when the movie comes out.
