It's hard to imagine that Bob Seger hasn't met everyone he wants to meet — from the world of music, sports or general fame. But yes, even iconic rock stars have people they're eager to meet.
Talking Thursday about his fall tour, set to kick off Wednesday at Eastern Michigan University's Convocation Center in Ypsilanti, Seger revealed to The Detroit News that he'd never met Eminem. In all these years, with both living in Michigan? Nope, never.
So when Seger heard Em was recording out at Kid Rock's place, he asked if he could swing by. The answer was "yes," of course.
"He was really sweet, really nice," Seger said. And he was impressed with Slim Shady's level of fitness. "God, a piece of steel man, that guy is cut! You brush against him, it's like brushing up against a fireplace or something. He works out."
There is photographic evidence of Seger, Kid Rock and Eminem together, but alas, we can't see it.
"I got a picture!" Seger chortled. "Nobody gets it but me, though. My own personal picture."

I laughed. Especially at him comparing Em to a fireplace. Of all things...I guess that means he's hot.
It's cool to know that even super famous people have other celebs they're dying to meet.Also, a gem that might get lost: Em was just out recording with Kid Rock??
