I'm not sure on the validity of her claims.

I remember when that book came out, and she just sort of seemed like a bitch trying to make a buck. She went on the radio on Em's birthday to promote her book in Detroit. She talked all kinds of crazy shit about him, and about Kim.

He actually called in to the radio station and gave his side of the story. She might have been a friend, but anyone who would take advantage of the situation she was in doesn't strike me as a very good or honest person, regardless of what happened between the two.

Yeah Kim called in first, and Em called in after she did and backed Kim up, which to me takes a lot of whatever credibility the author [JR Watkins/Watson or something, right?] had, because they were divorced at the time.

There was a Re-Release of the same book with an additional Chapter named "The Lost Chapter" where she confessed as to why she did all those things. From what she said ,it was her husband who was after all this, like forcing her to go to Radio Stations and do all the promotions. He did that just because he found a way to make a extra buck out of the whole situation ~ She recalls.

Yeah, I bet. XD. She was just a lying bitch. "Oh, shit, they're mad - lemme blame it on my husband and it'll all be sunshine and daisies!"

Part of it. From what I read, it seemed like she was trying to make herself out to be a martyr or something - "look at all this awful stuff that Kim and Marshall dragged me into!"

Just my opinion. But anyway, we're off topic.

No we are not off topic. She is a woman right ?

So,as I was saying ,she never blamed Eminem or Kim for anything ,it was his Aunt Betty who made her look bad in Eminem's eyes. His trust was broken to the extreme limit due to certain situation that took place and she was framed for being the Villain in Em's & Kim's relationship.

I've read some more of it now, and a lot of what is said rings true. Interesting, for sure.

I don't believe so. You could probably make it fit, but I think too much weight is placed on parenting and childhood relationships to parents by Freud, much more significant factors have since been proven in psychology that discredit the basis for some of his ideas.

I don't necessarily think Eminem wants to kill his father, he just dislikes him for leaving the family - and what child wouldn't? this is a natural response, not a psychosis or complex.

And I don't think Eminem truly wants to have sexual relations with his mother, I think he was just trying to be as shocking as possible. And in theme with the idea of being the ultimate X-type asshole (pig, scumbag, loser, freak, pervert etc.) on The Marshall Mathers LP, the idea of incest, and specifically with his mother, is an obvious idea to cause offence or try to provoke.

If anyone wants to read the book, some one has it online on one of those old school Tripod/Lycos sites.
