for the first time in my life, an album made me want to quit. Nobody will ever top tech n9ne in regards to raw lyrical difficulty. It's just never going to happen. But I think it's his ability to grab beats by the fucking face and ride every single drum with ease that brings out his skill more than anything

This is EXACTLY how I feel! I recently saw him live here in Houston, and that shit changed my fucking life. Tech N9ne is just a machine. 100% of his success has been from absolutely nothing outside of raw lyrical skill. This guy has been going harder than anybody for over 10 years. And every single verse he puts out is better than 90% of Em's recent shit.Revolutionary wrote:In all honesty...Tech N9ne is getting closer and closer to being my number 1 rappers of all time but we all know that'll never happen. Step yo game up Em

That Relapse style was PERFECT for a Tech collab though. There was almost... no better time in Em's career to do it. Psychopathic content, tricky, bombastic flow...
Seems as if Em is going more toward shocking subject-matter again though. Well, he ALWAYS remains shocking (despite people constantly implying he 'softens', Recovery is actually hardcore as hell), but, he just changes the aim of the shock. And his subject-matter is going more toward ballsy, psychotic and provocative content again. The cypher style is a winner.
Exactly this. I've said this to a few people in the past, Recovery and post-Recovery Em wouldn't have been good for a Tech N9ne collab.
What? At the very least we get a legendary tech verse or 2Mathers wrote:Menzo wrote:EminemBase wrote:Em collaborating with him for Relapse 2 would of been awesome. And then him actually releasing Relapse 2, with the collab on, would of been ideal ay.

There goes my excitement for a collab.
