No way were his 1990-1995 years his worst. The American Badass gimmick was his worst, and personally I wasn't into the Ministry of Darkness/Corporate Ministry gimmick. I even remember Taker himself saying in an interview he didn't like that era.

CM Punk is the only modern wrestler that I like. I barely watch it at all these days but Punk's shoot promo where his mic got cut off and then his promo with Triple H in the ring a few weeks later is the best shit I've seen in wrestling for a good 7 years.

man I'm so fucking pissed I missed the attitude era, I've seen some highlights, replays, playbacks/flashbacks, but it's still not the same, took me till 2003 to discover wrestling :/

There will never be as cool an time in wrestling as the Attiude Era ever again. Not to rub it in lol, but the last 4 months of 1997 up until 2003 where amazing - especially 1997-2001.

Yeah Taker did indeed say he didn't like the Ministry era much on the This Is My Yard video, but him not personally liking the gimmick because he's a Christian doesn't take away from it being a great fucking gimmick.

As for ABA vs OG Deadman, just compare them. OG Deadman had boring matches, he was literally a zombie in the ring up until the feud with Mankind. He did have classic moments throughout though, rising from the casket at Royal Rumble 94, his Summerslam 94 return, him building caskets, stuffing Ultimate Warrior into a casket, his hand rising from the grave after the buried alive match, ect.

Now American Badass had just as many if not more classic moments, his Judgement Day 00 return, throwing Austin through a glass window, beating Austin while he was on a stretcher, chokeslamming Rikishi off the Cell, tombstoning Rock on a limo, flying chokeslam to Shane through an announce table, beating the shit out of Flairs son, ect. On top of the classic moments ABA was alot more interesting in the ring, what match from 90-96 was as good as Undertaker vs HHH at WM 17? However he did fall off hugely in 2003, thankfully WWE realized it & returned him to the Deadman the following year.

Keep in mind, this is taking nothing away from OG Deadman, still a great gimmick and where it all started, but it's just my least favorite.
