Defending wise, he's sometimes very clumsy but at the same time makes good challenges. He's got time to learn but I think a defensive midfielder role may suit him well. I wouldn't want to see him there permanently, but it'd be interesting to see how he gets along.

No man, whoever thinks that the DM position would suit Luiz is wrong. The DM is probably one of the hardest positions to play in and requires amazing composure and discipline, which would limit Luiz's ability to burst forward. The DM is the connection between the defense and the midfield and has very little movement space, so it's a no-no for Luiz.

City vs Newcastle should be a good game.

Title decider...

In all honestly, if Cabaye or Tiote miss that game, I think we'll get smashed. Tiote is an absolute must for this game. Personally, if they're both fit, I'd play:

Krul
Simpson Saylor Colo Raylor
Tiote
Santon Cabaye Guthrie Jonas
Ba

Pack out the midfield to combat City's strong central area. Santon looks useful going forward and will help out Simpson defensively (plus his height could be useful). Not to mention Marv looks lost on the right hand side, cuts in wayyy too much.

I don't think we'll get anything from the game, but I think we'll put in a good perfomance and won't get embarrassed.

Remember in your ask me a question thread, I said to you "Newcastle, bottom or top half this season?" and you were optimistic about your chances for a top half finish, now look where you are. Granted it's early days but you're overachieving and it's great to see. Even though you're ahead of Chelsea, credit where credit is due, what a start.

What I'm getting at is I would not be surprised if you got something from this game, you're a solid team. QPR made live difficult for City and Fulham proved to be no push overs. Newcastle in my eyes are much better than both of those teams. I know it's a game away from home but I really believe you can get something from this game.

Ehh... still not a huge fan of international breaks. Weekends don't feel right without the Premiership tbh.

I'm thinking about going to watch England vs Sweden though. Spain tickets are unfortunately sold out.

Oh and this is pathetic. http://www1.skysports.com/football/news/11668/7303508/

Piazon made his debut today for the under 18's. Apparently he played quite well! Nice to hear.
