I was just watching the news on the tv and saw Shakira gettin' the star on the Hollywood Walk Of Fame. It kinda pissed me off because I don't really think she made some big difference in people's lives with her poppy music to get that kind of recognition... How come Eminem didn't get one and he had a much bigger impact on people with his music???
What do y'all think about this? It's kinda unfair imo...

Well,Shakira may be good...but take it this way (not to sound bias),just take a look at statistics...Em' won an Oscar and much more music awards than Shakira probably ever will...so even from that point she didn't deserve it as much as he did...

The Walk of Fame is a PR gimmick. You have to pay for it. It's a joke. Hey I'm giving you this award, a star on the walk of fame, and it will only cost you about $30,000 in cost and fees. This honor comes from the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce who work with studios and record companies to get celebrities this publicity...oops I mean award.
