This kid has the x factor no joke, his hunger and fire in eyes, it's like someone put a fire under his ass, I'm glad he did the song, yes it wouldn't ever be able to touch the original but for such a young age he made the song come to life and owned it. And i also find it very intriguing that Eminem makes people get his permission first before performing or using his music in shows movies etc great call in my opinion that way he can stick to his true self and image without having his songs on shit shows like glee.

I can safely say and confidently conclude that you don't that. I don't see why his manager would offer that he watches Astro when he doesn't. He's not above it. And he's already said he watches random tv shows reads random magazines to get his pop culture info.

Um...ALL artists make people and companies get permission to use their songs on TV or in movies, and especially if they're going to actually alter it like this kid did. The only lyrics he kept were the chorus and "snap back to reality".

Well yes I know but there are still PLENTY of artists that could a fuck if a show or movie used their song as long as it is getting some play. At least he has maintained the same mindset throughout his whole career and has enough backbone to say no to all of these people that would like to use his music for their show, he knows his musics worth, pretty impressive since most stars these days are attention whores.
