You guys should just put it to rest and agree that both songs are awful. Specifically, Throw It Up, that song's sole redeeming quality is the beat. All 3 verses were nothing less than abysmal. Eminem's flow was good and annoying at some points. His constant delivery switching was obnoxious, his rhyming was sub-par, and 50% of the lines were fucking pathetic. Lyrically, 2011 Eminem at his absolute worst.

A Kiss wasn't much better either, Royce had the better parts in the song overall but that's easy when you have Eminem beating the dead horse of hating women. Once again, their flows are the only redeeming qualities in this track. That beat is one of the worst of the year.

Consequently, I've lost much hope for Eminem and I'm very scared of what his next album will be like. He needs snap out of it and look at the music people like Joe Budden are making.

Honestly? You spent that much time to write this just to pretty much say the exact same shit that you posted in your first reply and you're still not going in on my arguments. This is leading nowhere.
You're a completely deluded Stan and yes, I know you're expecting a long-ass reply now, but I'm done with wasting my time on morons like you.

Face the facts buddy, Throw It Up was just horrible.

Maybe if you offered a bit more to debacle, my response wouldn't feel redundant. But hey, that's on you.

And finally, for ironic and imitative purposes, can you high light where I said Throw It Up is factually good? I said it was good, speaking personally cuz the thread asked for preference :flutter:

Lol, you're pathetic. Label me a Stan and a moron, but you just outdone by one so you should be ashamed. Peace, cunt.

Uhm, maybe if you actually talked about what I offered to debate, your response wouldn't feel redundant *shrug

I never bawled you out for liking the song, I could give a fuck less if you torture your ears with stuff like this. I was simply stating why I believe that it ins't good.

I was outdone by you? It's hard not to be "outdone" by someone who is blind to the arguments of the other. So if having the intelligence to realize that going round in circles with a dim-wit means getting outdone by said dim-wit, then yes, I got outdone. And I feel really ashamed.

If Eminem rapped pointless lyrics in an interesting way I'd be happy.

The problem is he raps pointless lyrics in a very, very boring way. He makes the most awkward pauses at inconsistent times which makes his flow sound like shit. It's all over the place. His content is unbearably incoherent. He may be trying to parody at times but because he is rapping so awkwardly, it's hard to work out if he really is.

Alot of times Trshady has tried to break down songs into so many different categories and sub-elements to justify or disregard a song as being good or bad. Music is art, very different from science and therefore should not be judged by all these technical aspects. Multies, flow, punchlines, "originality", rhyme schemes, voice control, breath control, production time taken etc. They help, dont get me wrong, but a song could be lacking on so many levels and yet be an absolute jam to listen to.

Touchdown- that song is abysmal lyrically. Even Eminem knows that. But i fucking love it, the vibe it got is so fucking cool.... and no lie, its one of the few my non-rap fans love by him as well.

Stay Wide awake- technically brilliant. aesthetically underwhelming. People on Tr go nuts with phrases like "if you dont like it, you dont know lyricism" yet, i just dont.

Its a sad reality considering how some people try and convince/ change other people's opinions about tracks instead of simply explaining themselves and enjoying the output as it is. On that note

I think Throw it up is an awful track and A kiss is not bad... almost average.

Maybe there's some meaning behind that?
