He's basically the guy who did a lot more than a fucking lot of other artist for Hip Hop but never got the props he deserves.

I hope you guys realize that putting out an album every year is considered a very high output. Unless your a fad star trying to milk your fame while it lasts you don't generally release much more than what Ems doing. If you do your gonna oversaturate the market.

Tech N9ne puts out an album a year. In 2009 he put out 2. And in 2010 he put out 4. And this year he has put out 2. Not to mention he does over 200 shows a year (for the last 10 years at least), and he does countless freestyles, collabs and interviews annually.

Eminem, as an active (and very successful) hip-hop artist, is putting out minimum material.

Seriously. And please understand that I'm not dick-riding Tech. There's plenty of other artists putting in just as much effort (such as Dumbfoundead). Tech has just been on that grind longer than anybody in history

Well I'm sure part of the reason is because he feels he doesn't want people to get sick of him. He's been conscious of that since day one, and the element of surprise and making people want more / wait for new material has always been a crucial element to his success.

Another reason is probably that he and Paul obviously like to keep up his image of professionalism and mystique, and him just putting out tracks or mixtapes is a little amateurish. Clearly they like to make releases from him an event, and anything less cheapens it.

But yes it is very annoying especially considering the fact he says he records five days a week. I mean, would it kill him to put out even a new freestyle every month? imagine something like "Despicable" every now and then, I'm sure he could write 100 of them with his eyes closed.
