He said something along the lines of him making many tribute songs for Proof but he didn't feel any did Proof justice. You're Never Over was the one he felt was good enough to put out and he dedicated the whole album to Proof. I remember the interview going something like that. But Difficult was a song that should never have been released. It was a personal track that was clearly made just to vent. That was made evident with some of the stories he was telling in the track.

Some of these were recorded around the time of King Mathers, Fly Away was a Recovery leftover, because he wasn't working with Just Blaze for Relapse. Cocaine was a Relapse 2 leftover, Difficult wasn't supposed to be put on anything, it's been real imo seems like it would of been an outro to King Mathers maybe, since he was planning on retiring at that time. Things Get Worst was either a leftover for B.O.B. Presents The Adventures of Bobby Ray, or Recovery, & Emulate was gonna be on the Shade 45 mixtape.
