Lil Wayne Fans > Eminem Fans

Postby Fa-Q » Nov 21st, '11, 09:09

I can't believe the bitching and moaning the Eminem fans on here have. I toodled on over to LilWayneHQ just to see what it's like. Now, keep in mind, the average Lil Wayne has the IQ of a trained Police German Shepherd but no matter how shitty the verses Lil Wayne drops...they love him. Blissful retardation. They love him over there.

I come back here and see a link to some petition sent to Em telling him to make better music? Seriously? Be glad the man is alive and still making music. I mean you do realize he could retire tomorrow, have enough money to live a lavish lifestyle for the rest of his life with his family and wouldnt have to make a lick of music forever. So he's doing it for his fans, not for himself or for money. Just take a step back and look at what whiny bitches you are and see what kind of fan you are.

So you said that the Wayne fans are retards for loving every verse he puts out. And yet you expect us to embrace everything that Eminem drops, regardless of how shitty it is? What kind of logic is that?
He has enough yes-sayers around him that are too blinded or simply too scared to give any sort of constructive criticism that he might take the wrong way. So trust me, he's feeling the love.

Also, he isn't producing music "just for us". I would never want him to end up like that, he'd be writing all his verses in anguish and without inspiration, they'd sound forced as fuck.
Listen to the countless interviews where he said that he's doing it for the art and because he still genuinely loves Hip Hop.

Well, we do have the right to criticize him. It's not like he's new to us and we're just hating on him; most of us have been fans for a long time and you never see anyone bashing SSLP, MMLP or TES. It's just a matter of disappointment because we know what the man is capable of. Sure, he can never be as good as he used to, that would be unfair to expect, but at least be the best you can as of now. Look at Nas, Common or Jay-Z, their verses aren't as good as before but at least they're being serious about it and their deliveries are consistent. I get that Em tries to change his style and evolve, but evolve means to improve not to degrade.

With that being said, I have low expectations for his new work and therefore I rarely put out criticism because I'm not expecting much to begin with. As for him retiring, yeah that's an idea that doesn't cheer me up; but then again, 90% of his new stuff has low replay value to me so it's not like I'll be missing much. It's just that excitement thing - like before a new album drops and we're all hyped up, speculating, waiting for a new song to leak, etc. - that makes us to want something new. But in all honesty, I don't think that we're getting as much as we like to believe we do.

Be glad the man is alive and still making music

I am very glad that he's alive and well, and I'll always be thankful for his earlier music and all the good memories and feelings that I got and still get off of it. He's my favorite artist and I'm very supportive of his legacy and what he's done for the world of Hip-Hop. However, being displeased with this new era - which is like MJ's time in Washington - doesn't make me a less of a fan and I have every right to say shit about it. Even though I really don't, but it's very important to notice and remember that this is all because we know he can do better! It's like watching a talented athlete throwing away a scholarship. He has every right to do so, but don't expect his Mom to not get mad. And to sum it up, just watch this scene from Good Will Hunting - it exemplifies my point with perfection:

You got some good points, but it is ok to criticize Em if you feel he is not as good as he should be. I think that Em is not as good as he could and as he used to be, but I`m not gonna talk shit about him, because his music is a big part of my life and I`m thankful for that.

And also, there is not a better way for a member to become "important" here than to talk shit about Eminem.
Example: "All you fucking stans are blind thinking Em is good now, he sucks and ya`ll should stop dickriding him. I win again #stay winning" or whatever that crap is.

Fa-Q u said it :y:

To everyone criticizing him over this,(mostly 1 verse) your gonna eat your words & :worship: when all of these other features drop. I promise not to go back on that promise. And if his music is that bad to you, why start a movement?? Just walk away & stop listening to him.

A fan disliking the occasional song is normal but I don't get the people who say he sucks now. They don't like what he puts out , don't like his flow, don't like what he raps about, don't like his style etc but still constantly show up to say so. Why bother? Are you hoping to one day wake up and hear the old Eminem has returned, Slim Shady's back? I don't think it's going to happen. Been there done that, in a different place now. Might as well let it go.

I concur. Its alright to say throw it up was bad and constantly blast it but if you think Relapse, Refill AND Hell the Sequel were bad, why you still moaning?

First, Em hasn't downgraded. Just because you feel that why doesn't it make so. Second, if you agree with Koolo and his 'movement' you just as ridiculous because all he is doing is using bulling ways to get attention. he is butt hurt that Em didnt give him attention when he leaked tracks and now he will do anything to do so. Lastly, to say Em is bad is ridiculous given the amount of OCD the guys has and even stealing tracks is a "knife straight through his heart".
At the end of day, you don't know what you want from him. You dont want him to yell. He whispers. It sucks. You dont want him to rap about farts. He raps about bitches. You dont like it. You're not his Mom, you dont know him personally..so why is everyone taking it as such. Michael Jackson himself wasn't perfect through his whole career. No one is. I can't believe people actually love Encore over Recovery...it sadd

I'm sure that everybody can agree that his new stuff i.e. '04-present can't touch his earlier work so it's safe to say that he's downgraded. However, I also said that it's unfair to expect him to be as good as back then so my main point was that he isn't reaching his current full potential. That would be tracks like The Warning or Despicable along with his cypher verses, Deja Vu etc. And that's exactly what I want from him - normal flow/tone of the voice and more focus on rhyming and content than punchlines and "complexity". As you may have noticed, nobody hates on those so I doubt it's a coincidence in question.

Koolo and leaking have nothing to do with what I was saying, I only alluded that the excitement during the wait for something new to drop gives us more pleasure that the actual material which gets released - because it usually doesn't meet our expectations. With that being said, I agree that one shouldn't bother with pointing out all the wrongs but we do have the right to do so. And again, this all comes from the fact that we know he can do better - as he has shown, and because we're fans of his and we care for what he does. So even though we're not his Mom or friends (who are hypocrites and yes men, as someone else in here said) we appreciate him enough to want him to do better.

Long story cut short: There are many Eminem haters on here and act like they know more than Eminem and are more skilled than him.No only that, I've seen people acting as if Eminem was his neighbor or some shit and lol at the expert advices that this people give.

This. For all we know, the dude could be making TES II as we speak right now. Let's wait for an actual album to judge, fuck the features. You guys realize that Em doesn't have full control over someone else's track, right? He HAS to abide by certain requests. That's how collabs work, and why most are weaker than solo efforts. A solo effort is where you have FULL control of your work and you don't have to compromise or settle. For example, look at Tech's invitation to A6&7s, he got that last minute. You think Em would have had full control of that track? If he did, he would have been on that track.
