This. For all we know, the dude could be making TES II as we speak right now. Let's wait for an actual album to judge, fuck the features. You guys realize that Em doesn't have full control over someone else's track, right? He HAS to abide by certain requests. That's how collabs work, and why most are weaker than solo efforts. A solo effort is where you have FULL control of your work and you don't have to compromise or settle. For example, look at Tech's invitation to A6&7s, he got that last minute. You think Em would have had full control of that track? If he did, he would have been on that track.

Now, keep in mind, the average Lil Wayne has the IQ of a trained Police German Shepherd but no matter how shitty the verses Lil Wayne drops...they love him. Blissful retardation. They love him over there.

I come back here and see a link to some petition sent to Em telling him to make better music? Seriously? Be glad the man is alive and still making music. I mean you do realize he could retire tomorrow, have enough money to live a lavish lifestyle for the rest of his life with his family and wouldnt have to make a lick of music forever. So he's doing it for his fans, not for himself or for money. Just take a step back and look at what whiny bitches you are and see what kind of fan you are.

Lol no, Lil Wayne fans are just retarded and they have fans who say he fell off too. But it's been like 5 years since Wayne didn't release a good song (for his old standards, he use to be good, check this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nTZhajbq2dI) so they gave up on him.

LOL @ the typo's in my post, fucking embarrassing. :coffee:

When it comes to Eminem there's no such thing as Solo or Collab, he treats them equally. He usually kills then in some way or the other, Forever is a good example.

Compare the Cypher with Throw It Up, both are completely different songs and were recorded in different occasions, the Cypher being the recent drop from the two. I don't see the point in passing a judgement that Eminem has fallen off or can't touch any other topic, at least after listening to the Cypher.

I remember this, this is fuckin' dope. I like this Wayne way better and he became too cocky at C2. Had GREAT songs, but he called himself the Best Rapper Alive and I think from that point on, he isn't even trying anymore. The guy's young as hell, so I KNOW he can still rap like that. Same goes for Em, he can still rap exceedingly well.

I suppose, but you know what I mean, right? It's like comparing H:TS to Recovery. You COULD, but it's not a very accurate comparison because Em doesn't have complete control over his art. He still spits verses like a solo yes, but do you know what I'm getting at?

Okay. :y: Basically, let's wait for his next solo album to see if he's still got it. I think he still does, but if the next one tanks, then no excuses.

This little fiasco has just showed Marshall & his team that a small percentage of his fanbase are upset fanboys crying out for attention. For one, knowing that Em is not reachable online, after all he is a recluse fello. Two, they know a solo Em album isn't in the pipeline anytime soon & he's getting near retirement. So, they jump on anything he's involved in of recent & tear it pieces, in hope for a response of more music.

Or they're just sad stans.

This is not true. Of course he's doing it for himself.

Not for money, but because he loves music and couldn't imagine what he would do if he didn't make music. But he is certainly not doing it "for his fans".
