What Flow Is Most Likely For Em To Use On His Next Album?

Postby VanillaSkittlez » Nov 22nd, '11, 00:37

So, out of curiosity, what do you guys think will be the most likely flow for Eminem to use on his next album or next major project?

I'm excluding all previous flows from previous albums because Eminem never repeats a particular flow for future albums; he's always changing it up.

I'm including the fast/speed rapping as well as yelling because he did use it on HTS and post-Recovery features so they are recent enough to be considered.

I excluded the Relapse accents because I think it's fairly obvious to this point that he's not going back to those.

The 4 included are the ones that were most prominent in his recent work (2010 + 2011) but if you have any other ideas that should be included (with proof. I.e. Don't make up some flow he's never used before, make a logical post on some flow on a song he's done that I haven't recognized). In other words, if you choose "Other", post what flow you're thinking of.

Let's see how this goes. Don't be idiots. This is an anti-troll zone.

I think it'll be like the cypher.

Specially the 'tonsil' part. I think he's gonna get more tricky, smoother and have only occurrences of shouting and try to utilize it for comedic effect.

Which I love. What he's doing right now is actually some of my favourite delivery from him, I love the unpredictability of it and the emotional intensity. It's also very crisp and clear.

I just hope that he thinks up a ton of concepts. Concepts are key at this point. Originality.

If I had to pick one of these I'd pick the Cypher flow/voice, tired of his speed rapping and yelling.

But I wish he'd start using that 2002ish voice/flow. Listen to The Warning, sounds like it could have been released in 02 to me.

Basically sums up what I'm thinking. Hopefully this stays through the D12 album, because no doubt we'll get classic tracks and most likely a Proof tribute. Then for the solo, I'd like to hear his thoughts on the rap game nowadays, and some original concepts like Relapse but more diverse. Some storytelling would be cool too, and basically anything he wants to get off his chest. That should be his main priority right now.

Agreed.

He used an abundance of inverse rhymes which were lacking on HTS and Recovery (there were some, don't get me wrong, but in such a small display of his rap in the cypher, it looked promising).

His yelling seemed much more relaxed on the cypher, only raising volume, not necessarily yelling, with the lyrics to back it up, which imo is the most important part.

I don't understand how on his freestyles/cyphers (westwood 2009, 2010, BET cypher) he actually has a great flow/delivery but he can't do that same thing for anything else. it's frustrating.

I doubt it's that he 'can't'.

He's choosing to do his flows how you hear them.

He did them in a specific style for Westwood and then he moved on.

Regardless, I love this flow at the moment and even if the calm, calm, LOUD delivery annoys some hard-headed fuckers on here, I like it and that's all I give a fuck about *insert middle finger smiley*

I love the flow. *shrug* I guess it's cool to hate New Era Eminem.

I dunno, I like Eminem on "A Kiss", but not on "Throw It Up". It's basically the same flow, but I think that he used it a lot better on A Kiss. But I dunno if I could stand a whole album of him doing that. But Em always finds a way to make things work. :y:

Why use a flow that he already used in the past if he always finds a new one?

i think he's gonna chop it up with tech and yela but in his stylish manner. i'm sure he's gonna yell and be a lil funny, as long as he kills ppl in cool ways, i'll be happy, especially if he makes em suffer in odd fashion... there better be blood, rust, needles, and poop
oh yeah... and thanks for nothing too

Em is experienced, so I'm trusting he will pick the right flow.
There's soo much he can do.
Short bursts then chop chop or medium pace chop..
Maybe even back to the traditional flow...But it went offbeat a lot and sounded awkward..So..

On Throw It Up he sorta sounded like he did on EMTV when he was sounding words out.
(Probably high on all sorts of shit though.)
