Why use a flow that he already used in the past if he always finds a new one?

Cuz that one sounds a million times better

I agree, but I don't think he'll go back to that, at least not right now.

Yeah but he's said that he tries to sound different on every album so I doubt he'll go back to that.
Fuck top five, bitch, I'm top four
And that includes Biggie and Pac, whore
And I got an Evil Twin
So who the fuck do you think that third and that fourth spot's for?

Yeah..It does sound a little bit better..

I'll be honest, I'm not really a fan of Em's late 90s flows..They sound really awkward..
Still awesome, but awkward..

I mean, they are really good but what they have in delivery they lack in being on-beat..
If he likes conforming to flowing properly now, then maybe he should stick by that logic.

I like it when he flows with the beat better instead of going against it, nawmsayin'?
And if he wants to sound different on each album, maybe he should just mix it up and try everything.

It's whatever though, I just want new music.

Show me one single song from 1997 to 2002 where Eminem is off-beat. Only example I can think of is possibly "If I Get Locked Up Tonight" where he occasionally goes off-beat.

Hell, his flow was flawless even on Infinite, which I don't think is as good as his '97-2002 material, lyrically.

VIBE: So tell me something about this new album.
Eminem: I learned how to ride a beat better, like, that's what I wanted to focus on doing. On the last album, I hadn't completely mastered it yet, to sink into the beat? That's what I don't like about that second album-I'd listen, and I'd be like, Why am I so far behind that beat? [voice rising] The first album was TERRIBLE - like, I was playing catch-up with the beat constantly.

I would love if he would repeat that flow that he had during the MMLP days, the raw feeling that his voice had was marvelous.

That's what I was talking about really..When he'd do that awkward flow like..Uh..
Nuttin' To Do and some tracks off MMLP.

Who Knew sounded awkward, syllable cramming and dododo blah blahsnare blah blah..
It weirdly still sounds good with the first few listens but then you really see the flaws after a few more..

I find it disturbing that I think this way about one of the greatest albums of the last decade..
But I guess it was his style at the time always chasing the beat..

Basically like, now he learned how to ride beats better now..So..I guess it doesn't really matter.

Square Dance/My name w/Xzibit flow :worship: :flutter:
"So one last time, I'm back, 'fore it fades into black and it's all over, behold the final chapter in the saga, trying to recapture that lightning trapped in a bottle twice, the magic that started it all...tragic portrait of an artist tortured....trapped in his own drawings..." - Bruce.

...another infantile retard who thinks "good flow" means mirroring.

Flat beat riding like that is the stuff of amateurs. Thousands upon thousands of netcees do it. Ke$ha does it. Katy Perry does it. Eminem could do that in his sleep when he was 14. Then he evolved beyond that.

Then he went backwards after the pills destroyed his brain.

LOL @ you thinking he needed to "learn how to ride the beat better." Yeah...he needed to learn how to do what every pop rapper in the world does...what every 16-year-old with Pro Tools does.

I really wish I still had the link to that track Evan C made making fun of this idea...
Canning: What will it say on your tombstone?
Charlie Sheen: Something dot com.
