Seriously, what the fuck are people listening to... :confusion:

He came back with Relapse which was an album where he embodied a slap-happy, pill popping serial-killing rapist. Since Recovery he's been on an all out rampage on women, his own psyche and letting us know how cheap and psychotic he is. How the fuck is he being soft and mature.

Let's look at some of his latest lyrics (cypher)...

"Should Casey Anthony do porn?
Can that chick fit a new born, dead baby inside a frickin' shoe box with a shoe horn?"

Yeaaaah, how 'soft' and mature. Talking about an assumed and probable child murderer doing porn and then the prospect of her fitting a new born baby in a shoe box

People confuse STYLE with content. Eminem's content has always varied. He's always done some psychotic content, some storytelling, some reflective and introspective content. Look on The Slim Shady LP, you have "Rock Bottom" and "If I Had". Northing's changed.

All that changes and that always will change and evolve is his STYLE.

He's still analysing his own flaws, he's still trying to provoke people, he's still hating on and abusing
women for comedic effect, he's still talking about how much of a cheap ass he is, he's still angry as fuck (and often aimlessly) and he's still abrasive and neurotic.

"OUTLANDISH, THESE WORDS ARE WEAPONS THAT I BRANDISH!!!!" (eyes pop out)

SOFT? wtf.

I think he meant will Em ever be like this again http://www.youtube.com/watch?nomobile=1&v=7FPESUPCabY

Yea right.

What do you mean by soft?

Has he made an Album filled with love songs? "Oh! Oh! Oh! Baby I love ..." , No. Just a handful of songs that he did in that direction makes you think that he has gone soft? I think you were in some kind of hibernation or something, because you haven't heard Relapse and most possibly everything he did after that, the statement that you made is totally ignorant and made without a second thought.

He has matured as person, it's apparent from the Interviews that he did. In fact under the mask of maturity he still has that 6th grade humor, that doesn't support your argument neither. He was matured enough to brake out of the addiction, can't you see that?

Who is worthy of dissing Eminem? He's the biggest rapper in the world, probably of all time. Maybe Jay Z could consider himself an equal in terms of power and record sales, but why would they beef? They're both nearly middle aged. It would be depressing and sad if they did.

I'm glad he's gained a mature outlook overall.

As for 'doesn't insult celebrities' - We Made You, 'doesn't cuss as he used to' - Listen to every song he has made from Recovery onwards, 'Not as shocking' - Relapse.

Off to the pub. Come on City :b:

Eminem made references to one of the biggest star right now, Kim Kardashian. And she felt great Eminem mocked her.

Simply because you won't see any artist getting mad because Em bashes them, he already did it and they all know it. That's why it's so hard for him to create controversy right now, even though putting out "Love The Way You Lie" with Rihanna was a fucking great job @ making people react, and it had what I would call a little controversy.

I can't wait to see what Eminem will came up with for his next album..

it's called grow up and happens with age. :y:

Will you be exactly the same that you were 10 year ago? People change with the experiences, evolves. and if he tried to go back to that, he would be hardly criticized.People need to bitch.

^ Times has changed. Eminem bashing pop stars now will not get the same reaction as ten years ago.

So you don't mean his music, you mean him as a person?

Well I think him avoiding childish 'rap beefs' when he's nearly 40 is a good thing. He'd look ridiculous going tit-for-tat with everybody who called him out at this point.

He's not as shocking as he used to be because the newness of him has worn off and because it's 2011. When he first came out, people have never heard content that hardcore on a mainstream level, he had constant twists and ironies, nobody had done what he did.

So he was a perplexing, polarizing figure. That was 1999 / 2000. It's 2011 now and he's 12 years deep into his career. Of course he's not going to be as shocking to people.

But to say his content has softened is absurd. It's got worse. If you look at say... even The Marshall Mathers LP or back in those days, he'd call a woman a slut or something but then often say he was joking or flip it to try and constantly confuse people...

Now he just unashamedly bashes everybody and anything like a madman for effect. Songs like "Cold Wind Blows" and "Almost Famous" are relentless, and harder than ever.

I say that there are too many kids here that want Eminem to go blonde and show his face all over TV talking shit about pop stars, act crazy and shit like that while being obviously drugged. Because Eminem is all about that.
