The 1st R-Kelly collab album came out in '02, and according to Wiki, it actually didn't go to number 1, so they must be counting that...Although every album he's been involed in since then, (7 albums) have all gone to number 1

Unless they count his sales as starting a-fresh after the collab albums, ha it's too confusing

Props to Em though, all 6 of his studio albums hit number 1, very impressive

That's how I feel too. Same with Tupac, Biggie, and almost all other rappers who are put at that rank. I respect them greatly for what they have done for hip-hop. But there's so many artists out there, who will most likely never get to that level of recognition, that would steamroll over people like Jay with their eyes closed. I don't get it


Now, I get that people like Pac and shit were great for their time. But that's just the thing. So was Slick Rick but I don't see him brought up nearly as much.
