Eh, I don't know for sure either. But if he was making it up I think he would put more emphasis on these stories in his music. You don't make shit up about yourself after you've been signed and released an album.

I wish I could understand SSLP when I was a kid, unfortunately I didn't speak English until I was 16 so I still discover things in his music, that's a good side though. I love how Rap music makes me want to understand every little word and be better at English.

So they forced him to make Hard White? Most of the album is good so it doens't really bother me that much, it just seems quite lazy to make a club song for the radio. I mean, we've seen tons of examples of songs in recent years that have done well on the charts without being marketed for the dance floor.

Even on this particular album there are quite a few songs that I can imagine doing a lot better than Hard White. Write Your Name and Good Girl both have mass appeal.

^Hard White is pretty crunck though. I had heard Yelawolf before (Pop the trunk, trunk Muzik) but Hard white AND the video trailer made me download The mixtapes. Good Girl though was awful.

Wow, Yelaowlf has a story, an identity and artistic independence. All necessary tools to make great music. I ddnt like Radioactive but after reading that interview i'll definately check out any of the stuff he produces next.
