I love that Romeu is starting but WHY is Drogba starting AGAIN over Torres? Frustrating. How is Torres ever going to regain form if he has minimal game time? Sort it out AVB.

Romeu is fantastic. I rate him highly, such a great talent. At least he's getting game time, but Torres needs it. Romeu > Mikel for the system we've been playing recently.

Mancini actually had the exact same record as AVB at this point when he took over. I have full faith in AVB he just needs to play our £50m striker. £50m! He should not be a bench warmer.

He hasn't been given much of a chance really. It's odd as AVB was backing him dating he's still worth £50m in a press conference yet he refuses to give him regular game time. Who knows. Ah well, come on the blues!

But City at that point were barely competing for a top 6 place under Mark Hughes. Chelsea have gone backwards.

We're playing fantastic. Yes it's against Wolves but the way we're knocking the ball around is superb. Totally dominant. Romeu is looking great, I keep saying it but I think he's an excellent player who has lots of potential. Mata has been his typical self with two assists and a goal which was a great finish.

I love to see us playing like this. This is the team (apart from Torres) I would like to see fielded more often. Play Romeu, play Meireles.

Hopefully the second half will be equally as impressive. :y:

Lello wrote:Romeu is really making me believe he deserves to start ahead of Mikel in the pecking order, great first half, Mata (not just the goal) was excellent, so was Ashley Cole, like u said It's just wolves, but we haven't seen this positive play for a while

Can't wait for the second 45

Totally agree. Romeu does deserve to be picked ahead of Mikel. He's only 20 and he's showing so much promise.

Good game. Totally dominant, even in the second half but we couldn't find a way through. I hope Romeu starts more after that solid performance. He always made himself available and made a few good tackles.

Roll on the Liverpool game, time for a bit of revenge I reckon.

Another brilliant display, everyone put in a shift, fully deserved point.

United fans crying about the penalty - it's about time a decision went against them at OT. Also, Rooney's kick at Colo went unpunished and Fabio got away with shit loads when he was on a yellow. Have that you glory hunting fucks.

Defence was exceptional last 10 minutes, Simpson's goal line clearance, Krul's saves and Saylor's blocks were immense.

And of course:

DEMBA DEMBA BA DEMBA BA DEMBA DEMBA BA!!!

Indeed he was. Such a talented player. I don't think AVB would ever accept an offer from Barca though should Romeu become a first team player. We don't need the money.

Mata is.. amazing. Still can't believe I read on Facebook someone calling for him to be sold. They must be off their skull to think that.

I don't think it's AVB's choice, there's a buy back clause in the contract, if Romeu wants to leave and Barca wants him (or the other way around), he can go without any opposition from chelsea (granted of course barca pay the fee)

and WHO'D WANT TO SELL MATA :S jesus christ :S

Ah right, I actually had no idea there was a buy back clause in his contract.
