That's how I feel too. Same with Tupac, Biggie, and almost all other rappers who are put at that rank. I respect them greatly for what they have done for hip-hop. But there's so many artists out there, who will most likely never get to that level of recognition, that would steamroll over people like Jay with their eyes closed. I don't get it :coffee:

Now, I get that people like Pac and shit were great for their time. But that's just the thing. So was Slick Rick but I don't see him brought up nearly as much.

I guess it's just the death thing.

I feel like I'm going to get a lot of flame for this, but whatever :b:

I always think of Jay as a worse version of Biggie.

^ I wasn't laughing at the suggestion that it said that somewhere.

I was laughing at the suggestion that Jay-Z is a better storyteller than Eminem.

How can someone say with a straight face that Jay Z is a better storyteller than Eminem?

I mean come on.....

"Murder Murder". "Stay Wide Awake". "Space Bound". "Brain Damage". "As The World Turns"

"Kim". "Stan".....and so on

In what way would Jay be a better story teller?

I guess its because. of people like this who are allowed to live
"Yo nigga I ain't gonna lie but that white boy is dope and can spit his ass off......but all he ever does is talk about Kim, Hailie, and his mom....I can't relate to his shit.

"Jay on the other hand I can definately relate to".....I can definately relate to also buying an island for my singer wife, having Obama's phone number, being one of the richest rappers, having my own clothing line, my own sports bar and did I mention I can relate to Jay because I also am bangingmy hot wife?

But like I said my dude.....Eminem and his childhood problems and not winning the rap olympics and experiencing racism......I can't relate to that shit
