Just watched 8 Mile for the first time in a year.

Am I the only one here who thinks 8 Mile is dull at some parts? Good movie, but not nearly as fantastic as I made it out to be when I first watched it.

When I first heard that Em is playing in a hip hop movie, I was afraid that it will be a shitty movie about a dude who is a nobody and then he becomes a rap superstar. I thought they would just put in minimal efforts in the story and let Eminem sell it. But, when you look it, it is a great movie even if someone else played Rabbit. Em had a great role in a great movie.

He didn't have a prior training in acting, yet he did that so naturally.I think the way he was so involved in the story line helped him pull it off.

I haven't watched 8 Mile this year.. I think what i'll be doing before going to bed. I want to see the new movie just to see Em act not because of the content or anything.
