Damn, so that means around the time he dropped The Slim Shady LP he was already working on material for his next album.

But the funny thing is.. he says "26 year old skinny Cartman" on a track dissing ICP.
Meaning.. "Marshall Mathers" was planned for The Slim Shady EP with a whole new concept.

When he was promoting SSLP, he said he saved 4 songs from the SSLP sessions for his next album. However, it appears he only saved "Kim," because all other songs contain references to events/things after SSLP dropped, or his voice just sounds too MMLPish.

Keep in mind he dropped other songs in 99 (or they got leaked later) like Get You Mad, Any Man, Bad Influence, Our House, Till Hell Freezes Over, If I Get Locked Up & Demon Inside. So some of those could have been SSLP leftovers too.
