Given that his shows were stadium shows one can expect a fair amount of sound problems, but the issues were so severe that at one point a large percentage of the crowd even started chanting ‘turn in up’. According to those in attendance the chant was so loud that even Eminem could hear it but mistook the audience for saying ‘take it off’ to which he lifted up his shirt.

That's the funniest thing I've heard all day!

I wouldn't be upset with the artist, I would be upset with the people that organized/ set up the audio. It sucks but it is what it is, we all know Marshall didn't mean for it to go down like that. On the bright side atleast they witnessed the best 5 secs of life when he lifted his top . I still can't get over the fact that he misunderstood turn it up with take it off

this is just wrong, if you watch the video in the article. The song that is playing when the audience screams " turn in ip " was Stan. And he always lift up his shirt at "I even got a tattoo with your name across the chest"..he doesnt mistook anything, he always does that.

I'm so glad that Melbourne didnt have sound issues, the sound was pretty bad on Lil Waynes performance, his vocals were way to loud especially when he put auto-tune on his mic But Em's set was perfect pretty much!
