i was just watchin the relapse show that was in Detroit on 5.19.2009 and it seems he is performing kinda weird and not really relaxed

I actually really like those performances, they sound very similar to the CD. Also, that "Underground" performance is one of my favorites of his, despite the fact that he stayed in the same place the entire song. He had excellent breath control in this concert.

side thought: Relapse > Anything after Relapse except 2 or 3 songs.

My guess is, he was too pissed to give a shit. I mean, imagine The Warning with accents.

It wasn't weird at all. It was okay, what more do you expect? He was performing after a very long time. The only thing that bugged me was the "Underground" performance, he did the whole song standing and shaking weirdly.

One thing hasn't changed till now and that is Mr.Porter's shitty job as a Hype Man.

It's weird..i started listening to recovery and relapse this past week again, and I appreciate it a lot more now.

Yeah I didn't like Mr. Porter as a hype man, at least he got a bit better. Not saying much, all he yells is "MAKE SOME MOTHERFUCKING NOIIIIIIIIIIIISE!!!!!!!" It gets a bit annoying.

I think Em looked tense on stage, cuz it had been so long. I don't like Em's performances from 2009 anymore tbh, I used to, but he didn't seem like he put a lotta effort in them. Still like his performances from 1999/2000 the most tho lol, he had so much fun on stage.

He used to be very annoying when he started out, he used to eat 70% of Eminem's lines and used to yell out randomly. The only crowd that he ever managed to hype was Detroit's crowd(HAH Concert). He ruined many Classic Songs like "Cinderella Man" by squeaking "Who?" every time "Cinderella Man" was sung in the Intro.

To talk about 2009 Performances, I really feel that he struggled a fucking lot, just look at "Voodoo Concert".

same. I'm just happy to see he's getting comfortable on stage again. Going back to Cinderella Man, I've always liked his performances of that, it seems genuinely energetic.

That the whole key of performing on stage bro.To talk about "CM", I can only say that the Live Version is really magical.
