So, I was listening to Echo this morning and I believe I noticed something I hadn't before toward the end of Eminem's verse...

Notice how he says when he comes back he's gonna set this bitch on fire, then explains that this time he doesn't mean to pour gasoline on some chick and light her

Is this referencing Love The Way You Lie? Which was one of his comeback songs where the theme of the entire song is setting a girl on fire(in literal terms, too).

After that, he says this time when fucks the world, he's putting his entire dick inside her, whereas on Not Afraid he mentions having his dick in the dirt(of Earth) and then fucking the entire universe, both of which could be called the world. This also continues the idea where he's talking what he said when he 'comes back' this time.

Just thought I would post this since it's something I haven't realized myself/read on here

Why would anybody think that's a reference to that lmao...

If you look at any time period in his writing he uses a handful of metaphors and similar expressions multiple times in songs or in slightly different ways.

Just like the cock block / male chicken punchlines lately, which he said about three times.

That huffin' paint thing is just an expression. Doesn't mean because he said it in another song he's referencing the song, he's saying it generically / separately. Eminem fans lately are always trying to connect everything thinking he is.
