Alright, before ya'll go nuts about the mixing/mastering, just letting you know this is my first track I've ever mixed/mastered on my own, I'm new at this process but I'm learning day by day, so with that said, I'd like to show ya'll my new track!

This is a funny track, and I love the intro lmao.

I'm not gonna bitch about the mixing, I have the same problems as you but recently I started to understand it a little bit more (Thanks to some members here, Solace this one's for you my dawg! lol)

First, the chorus has the same effects as the verses right? Or at least it looks really similar. Well, that has to change You should put less effects on your verses than on your hook so we know when the verse begins and when the hook ends.

Which software do you use?

Flow was alright, delivery was really cool too. I like your voice. The lyrics were funny, the rhymes were nothing impressing but you said why:

wasnt feeling this too much, the chorus kind of annoyed me.
the topic matter didnt really interest me, beat choice is ok but im not
one for gansta type laid back beats so that might be just me.

in mixing i know you just started, i have too, it sounds like you overlayed your whole verse.
i dont know if its the quality or volume but your a regular audio man so i probably dont need
to say this but... overlay just the parts you want to emphasize that way the verses dont
blend in with the hook like Trimss is saying.

apart from that i remember great tracks from you so i know you can do better, work on the mixing
and that will make it more listenable, because apart from that you know what your doing

lol pretty funny track

i think this would of been a better song if it wasn't for the mixing. all the song ran together as far as mixing. you really need to read up on compression and EQing. it'll help your game. can't really find anything to critique as far as songs go other then the mixing so i'll leave it at this would of been pretty enjoyable if it wasn't for the poor mixing. lol

Yeah you can tell this was meant to be a funny track, and was a cool one at that. Few things I didn't like though, a few lines and the chorus. "i'd rather go masturbate than be in contact with you", "i'm a human being after all but you're something strange, there's no cure for your brain" I found these lines to be overboard. Wasn't feeling them at all, when I first heard them, I was like c'mon Spag, I've heard much better rhymes from you. Even for a funny track the lyrics are too basic imo. Should of switched it up a bit, I mean comedy rap is easy to kill with punches and shit like that, so I was surprised why you didn't kill it. But it's a cool track man, it's not great, it's not shit either, it's alright but could of been better. The hook however though, I'm sorry but it was mad annoying...

Yeah, it sounded a bit too mono for me...
The song didn't really have a real direction at all and it was a bit bland.
Other than that, it was banging, you flowed really well and you had some funny lyrics embedded in there.

the mixing is terrible man, are you mixing on a desk or straight on Pro Tools??? cuz I dont really recomend you using the Pro Tools 9 effects like this, it doesn't really help, and you have wayyy to much reverb man.

I loved the hook, very catchy, but yeah the mixing don't help man, it makes somethign enjoyable sound bad....

the song itself is FUCKING GREAT, man, the beat goes well with your flow, but you are too loud on it.

this is one that you should fix cuz its actually good, reminds me of Obie Trice's "Got Some Teeth" for some reason...

Thanks for the in-depth feed Ax, mucho appreciated! I'm mixing it on my Macbook with Pro Tools 8 LE, so I don't have all the extra stuff that the latest version has. Like I said, I'm still new to this so I wasn't expecting it to be THAT great but yeah I'm trying to learn lol. I like the comparison to "Got Some Teeth" good looking out bro!
