It's cool that Tyler understands why Em did Recovery (as many fans do not). I just feel like if it's serious, it's bad to Tyler.

I feel like he sorta overhyped SS&D, definitely not one of the best written songs ever.

Really?
The story telling is mind blowing. I know the topic is similar to some of the stuff he has written about before but he does it in such a perfect way that he could pretty much rap about anything.

The chorus is crazy too. First one or two lines sound like a typical "get to the dance floor"-song but the rest of it gives it a totally different meaning. Brilliant.

And the beat is one of the most underrated I've heard in years. So hypnotizing!

Real close to a 10/10 imo.

I completely agree, not a lot of people can make such a chilling, gory song and make it into a song that makes girls get up and want to strip lol, but seriously it is almost hynotizing, the beat is so alluring until you stop and listen to what he is saying. Also the storytelling is magnificient, you can honestly visualize everything. I agree with Tyler the third verse is the best and beautifully written. The way he describes Britney is like to a tee, he doesnt even have to name drop her since you automatically know.

My second victim was even bigger than the first
Popstar icon, the whole works
She played a little school girl, when she first burst
upon the scene, and seen that the world was hers
She twirls and turns and flirts in skirts so bad it hurts
It hurt me and made me mad at first
I lashed out in my songs, but what was really going on
Was that I had developed a crush, I just didn't know how to tell it to her

it's insanely descriptive, and so is the rest of the verse. Probably one of the best songs on Relapse. I also like the many meanings it possesses. And the celebs he chose for the song were perfect. From one end i see it as him proclaiming that if these woman continue to degrade themselves they will attract this sort of attention and are more prone to these type of acts. Kind of like "if you act like a whore you will be treated like one and attract all kinds of bad attention" Then on the other hand these two large stars are the biggest subjects of pop culture, probably the biggest tabloid stars of the last decade. It can be viewed as a metaphor for the tragedy and consequences of fame and addiction since both stars have gone done that pathway to rehab, same song and dance implying the continuous cycle that you will fall in. Then there is also another side, being that many woman truly believe that they are invincible and these acts will not occur "Girl shake that ass, You aint never gonna break that glass, The windshields too strong for you". They are so many meanings its endless. Lastly there are the few who just think its a song about him fantasizing raping America's sex icons.

Tyler the Creator is wrong about Airplanes and Love the Way You Lie having the same chord progession. Basically the only thing that's DIFFERENT about the two beats is the chord progression! lol :D

This
I wanted an album so rugged nobody could touch it.
Spent a million a track and went over my budget.
Now how in the fuck am I supposed to get out of debt?
I can't rap anymore, I just murdered the alphabet.
