so my college assignment is to write 3 pages about how technology has affected society (he said using faacebook was really good idea) and i have no clue how to answer that, we need the pro's and con's... im not sure how to start it off

well you can always use the argument that technology makes us less social, with us just communicating through texts now instead of calling, or just using facebook. Also just locking yourself in a room and just playing xbox live with your friends instead of just hanging out with them.
I wouldn't know what else I would write about or how to start it but ha would probably be one of my topics unless I found a better one.

I agree with rollin4em. Of all the things that Facebook and shit like that could be used for, people use it just po post pics of themselves and to say that they are just about to do something. And then post a pic of that. Technology is making us less social.

I think as a whole, it's making us weaker and lazier. Facebook replaces actual conversation, it's fucked. Especially applies to girls, because whenever I make a quick comment to 'em in real life, they're all "Oh my God, is he talking to me...? What do I say!?" I mean, you don't think that in a regular conversation. You're basically reacting and responding to the other person while paying attention. The younger generation's bad with that, because they're all too involved in their BlackBerrys and how Jimmy broke up with Emily for Roxanne. It also makes us take things for granted, like at the mall. If you were to take the stairs, you'd see escalators as a blessing.
