"Fast Lane" is an instant classic, their style / its effect is SO satisfying.

They really are onto something with that dazzling back and forth. It's audio cocaine.

As for Nas as number 1? pff. I mean, the track was okay, was quite good even but, number 1 of the year? no way. "Fast Lane" for one is better. A lot better.

If you ask me, Niggas in Paris > Nasty.

Wouldn't really call either the best song of the year though.

It's cool that Bad Meets Evil made it on to the list, though. :y:

Nasty is so dope. Loved Fast Lane and Yonkers too, not really into Black People in Paris though.

I still need to listen to Ghetto Dreams

LOL Lighters and Loud Noises were the worst 2 songs off HTS. Good to see Fast Lane there.

I don't think a BME song should be #1
Glad Nas is getting some recognition

word a lot of better songs in the year then that. But i guess top 2011 also has to do with its hype and that song had a ridiculous amount of hype

Ruins it? he's so much more enjoyable than Jay on that album.

Much more of a personality and wit, so much more entertaining.

I wasn't talking about the album, I'm talking about the song. His opening four lines absolutely infuriate me. Why elongate your vocals in such an annoying way? The rest of the verse is good but that part in particular just makes me hate it so much.

She said Ye can we get married at the maaaAAAAAAAll?
I said look you need to crawl ‘fore you baaaAAAAAAAll
Come and meet me in the bathroom staaaAAAAAAAAll
And show me why you deserve to have it aaaAAAAAAll
