LTWYL became way too popular and too pop, therefore Recovery sucks.

REC+VERY is a great album.

A perfect transition Album from the styles of "Relapse". :y:

While "Relapse" acted as a practice ground for him, "Recovery" was him acting confident once again. I liked the Album from the very start, there was no going back and saying that "I love Recovery now". The Beats sounded different, nothing that Eminem has ever rapped over.To say the truth the Beats could have better; too many samples. If only this had original Beats in majority this would have much more appreciated than it is know.

I dislike when people say "Recovery" is what it is because of "LTWYL", Hunh? The people who bitch about this song are the one's who hop on the nutz of Rappers who make similar Songs, why doe? Eminem is an Artist, doesn't he have the right to do such Songs? The song became famous because of the message that it carried and whom it was coming from. If your favorite Rapper makes a song like that, won't you listen to it? Of course y'll will. This discrimination with Eminem is stupidity.

There are other Songs that make this Album great; On Fire, Cinderella Man, 25 To Life, So Bad, No Love.... I don't see why this Album sucks for people.

It's obviously that people love "Relapse" more now, but that doesn't take the Credit away from this Album. If "Recovery" is somewhere around (15/20) "Relapse" for me is like (16.5/20).

Not on Lose Yourself and Stan.
Fuck top five, bitch, I'm top four
And that includes Biggie and Pac, whore
And I got an Evil Twin
So who the fuck do you think that third and that fourth spot's for?

TES is amazing, but it's not silly to argue between TES, SSLP and MMLP.... they're all very close

Close?

For me, it's constantly between MMLP and TES.

I went through a phase where I though SSLP was his best and went through another one where MMLP was the best but i've been in the "TES is the best" phase for 4 years now...It's just so good!
And Relapse is fuckin amazing, few flaws ruined a nearly perfect album.

@Mathers....Stan is okay, Lose Yourself is dope but SFTM is jaw-breaking!

I prefer TES too, but I find switching between the two. They're that great. Plus, I remember somebody making a thread about how Relapse was Em's REAL prime, lol. Or something similar to that.

you think there's huge gap between any of those three albums, if so what?

to me it's SSLP>MMLP>TES

with ratings like 9.8>9.7>9.6 or something like that, not a 9 an 8 and a 7 (which is a big gap)

Mathematically they are but Artistically they are not that close. All three of them are placed on different steps of "Tone/Delivery/Impact/Content/Scope". It's the perfect execution that takes them close to a "Full 10".

Some people may even say that it's not fair to rate Em's albums out of 10 because their better than everything else (which they are btw :p ).

and I cement this post :worship:

Did you read my comment? :coffee: Read that and cement things later.

Point wise they are close.

"Tone/Delivery/Impact/Content/Scope" are the categories that make them different from each other, simple. Seeing the overall picture makes you rate it that close to 10, simple again.

Who the fuck said I was comparing Recovery with The Eminem Show?

It's silly of you to imply I'm making such a comparison when such a comparison is not being made.

Recovery> Illmatic

And yeah, it's not a troll :facepalm
I wanted an album so rugged nobody could touch it.
Spent a million a track and went over my budget.
Now how in the fuck am I supposed to get out of debt?
I can't rap anymore, I just murdered the alphabet.
