I wanna get into mixing/mastering audio. What's the best software to use for Windows?

I'll go out on a limb here and say Pro Tools 10, but it's not for a beginner. Expensive too.

Pro Tools is overrated, but effective.
Try Sonar and Multiquence too.
If your looking for a simple DAW, try Goldwave.
