Football players earn waaaay too much money. And clubs pay waaay too much to buy them. Torres went from Liverpool o Chelsea for 50 million pounds and forgot how to play. He scored like 5 goals. 10 mill per goal. He stayed in the same league, plays against the same clubs. Football needs salary cap.

I agree but it's nothing new. The top football clubs generate in excess of ~ £250m+ a year. With that sort of money coming in, it's always going to result in huge spending.

Should of defended there goal better imo but then obviously punished for not taking our chances. Annoyed also because just like Mike I had a bet on that involved a Chels win. Would say we have way to much to do now to win the title even if it was unlikely before now....Shame.

I'm hoping for a top 4 finish mate. With Arsenal and Liverpool on our tail we can't afford to drop points like that. I would not be surprised if we slipped out of the top 4.

I accept that this is a transitional period, but games to teams like Fulham and Wigan we should be winning. We need to bring in a few new faces in January..

I think we will get top 4 to be honest but I do think certain players need to get there act together. Do also think AVB needs to be a bit more wise with the subs. Im expecting us to lose against Villa tho, always a bogey team of ours and if we play like we have been we will be punished.

If we lose against Villa.. honestly, I don't think we'd get into the top 4 if Liverpool and Arsenal both win.

Looks like Cahill is pretty much our player now. He should help strengthen our defence as Ivan can go RB and Garry can lineup next to Terry. Boswinga.. he just cannot defend lmao. He's good going forward but that's the only thing going for him.
