When rapper Eminem bought this mansion in 2003, he paid $4,750,000 for this six-bedroom 9.5-bathroom whopper (which, to our dismay, has yet to be on MTV's Cribs). So how are things looking for the property value after the great recession of 2008? [Ed note: Assessed values are typically 50% of the home value so when he bought it it should have been assessed for 2,375,000] Not so good by the Realtor.com numbers. They are saying it was last assessed in 2009 for $1,821,980. According to the Oakland County website, it got even worse in 2010 and dropped to $1,513,200. Ouch. No wonder he writes such angry rap songs. But if Slim Shady did ever decide to re-list, we're betting star power would help move the 15,000 square feet along. In addition to bragging rights, you'll get 21 rooms and that tennis court.

Although if I had his money, I'd spend a hell of a lot more on my house than 4.75 mil, just because I could. Dude could've spend like ten times that if he wanted to.

I thought I read somewhere that house was kind of a decoy and Eminem really stayed in the Clinton Township home. Didn't the Mojo In The Morning story about the deer being impaled on his fence say it was in Clinton Township? They later took the story down.

Yeah. And I remember hearing that after Em filed for divorce in 06 he moved from his house in Clinton Township to his "other" house so he could clear his head.

Rapper Eminem's Home Assessed for Less Every Year:

December 23, 2011 - Sources report that music artist Eminem's home in Rochester Hills, Michigan, has been assessed year-over-year for much less than he purchased it for in 2003. Curbed.com reports that the rapper paid $4.45 million for the home.

Eminem gained much popularity in the late 1990s and Rolling Stone magazine ranked him 82nd on their list of 100 best artists of all time.

According to a listing, the home has 14,959 square feet of living space including six bedrooms and nine-and-a-half bathrooms and sits on nearly 6 acres of land. Outside features of the home include a gazebo and a full tennis court. The estate was built in 1986 and is close to Eminem's hometown of Detroit.

The source reports that the home was last assessed in 2009 for just over $1.82 million, while another website says that number dropped in 2010 to just over $1.513 million. The home is not currently listed, but with 21 rooms, the price should have someone calling for a moving company in no time.

Lol @ as if he cares about home value. All he would have to do is jizz somewhere in the house and tell the buyer his seed is lurking and the house would quadruple in value instantly.
