The Recovery punchlines were Briefcase Joe's idea!

At 2:14, Joe says "I got a garden hose", and comments how it sounds like he got prostitutes living in his garden. I guess we know who ghostwrote most of Recovery!

It makes me facepalm. But that verse is amazing so it's alright I guess.

The line that makes me cringe the most is the 'window pane' line from LTWYL. So much so that I often fastfoward through it.

You have right. The "window pane" line is the most terrible thing on Recovery Really.

Bad punchlines bother me in good songs more (YNO and LWTYL) . Mostly cos they're so out of place which makes them stand out more.

They don't bother me as much in an already shit song.
