Yakubu + Demba Ba = £1.5m = 27 goals. Torres + Carroll = £85m = 4 goals.

LOL so true. :y:

I still have faith in Torres though. If he continues to perform to the level he showed at Wolves, I can see him returning to goalscoring form. We just need to play Mata behind Torres to feed him those passes.

Lello wrote:well I'm back, I've done enough celebration and gloating outside the internet, so I'm just gonna go on my thoughts of the game, first 22-25 minutes United were the better side, but after that, Newcastle just took control of the game, loved how they press utd's midfield and dispossessed them this easily, then came Ba's WONDERFUL WONDERFUL GOAL!!!

2nd Half, United had an erection of 55-65 with no real chances just a lot of danger in the Newcastle area which had they had Chicharito in he would've killed most of them, since that's his specialty, but United lost control of the game before Chicharito came in, so after he came in they had no chances for him to bury. After 65' Newcastle took full control of the game, and DAYUUUUUUUUUUUUUMNNNN WHAT A FREE KICK BY CABAYE, 2 goals worthy of goal of the season IMO, and ofc the comedy goal in 90' which put the icing on the cake.

United have their injury problems though, but 6 goals conceded in 2 games, and 2 losses in a row, things aren't going alright for Ferguson's side atm, but we've had a similar run even worse sometimes, so it's time for us to capitalize and we need to win every game from now on to close the gap on all the teams that are above us which happen to drop points, maybe winning the league is a reach, but finish in the best position possible should be our goal

4th is the best you can reasonably hope for, with 3rd a slight possibility if one of the top 3 collapses. It's very unlikely that 2 will collapse, and pretty much impossible that all 3 will.

I think, not 100% sure, Utd play City (FA Cup) and Arsenal (EPL) in this time period (and other league games)

Yeah, we play United at home 22nd.

Yeah, me too. I like Torres. I think he looked great against United as well, despite that huge miss. Carroll on the other hand. That's a big fat joke. Newcastle got £35 million and got Ba for free, gotta love that.

Exactly, for the most part Torres was awesome against United. Unfortunately it's overshadowed by that awful miss. Tbh, that game right there proved he still has it. The goal he scored showed wonderful technique. Everything up to the second goal was impressive how he took it past De Gea.

He looked very bright against Wolves so let's hope it's the return of El Nino. On form, he's up there with the best. If we played Mata behind him, I bet he'd be banging in the goals.

Ba was one hell of a signing. His finish against United.. :flutter:

Kalou? He's awful man. I hope PSG take him from us. They'll probably put in a good offer and it would take him off our wage bill.

Switch Mikel for Romeu too.

Romeu needs to rest, he's been starting all games, and I like Kalou and I knew I'd get that response :sweating:

Lol. :p

I don't understand why you like him though? What does he bring to Chelsea?

On or off the pitch? On the pitch he will most certainly get that role automatically. :y:
