I though his verse on These Drugs was disappointing. I liked the first 2 lines but what's so great about the rest?

Had some nice rhyming, but the verse as a whole wasn't really anything special. Loved the delivery though.

I've always loved he visual imagery of this line but it's such a brilliant way of mocking people who take his lyrics too seriously. Using an actual stereo just makes the link to violence (or murder material, in this case) so hilariously ridiculous.

Reminds me of this portion of Remember Me:

"Came home, and somebody musta broke in the back window
and stole two loaded machine guns and both of my trenchcoats
Sick sick dreams of picnic scenes, two kids, sixteen

His obvious sarcastic suprise at being blamed for murder despite the weapons belonging to him just emphasises the ridiculousness of how something like music can be used as such a scapegoat (really didn't word that well at all).

Again, more wonderful imagery, but it's one of those lines that kind of sums up what the MMLP was all about. If people are really influenced by what he says, then he's going to completely play up to it (as he does on the album). I think it's this idea in my head I get when I hear this line of Eminem literally controlling a child from above that makes it so great.
