Hello i'm new to the board, this is obvious but so many are ignorant to this fact even fans, there is the Eminem fans that like the deep, reflective thought, provkoking, emotional Music that is relatable like heart felt Music and the words in the song as well as the emotion they are being expressed with are the most important factors. Basically the type of Music 2pac made is Eminem/Marshall Mathers.


Then there is the Slim Shady alias fans that like the crazy, twisted real shocking sometimes cartoonish Music.

I like pretty much all his sides. And he does a lot more than just crazy or emotional. He creates concepts, storytelling tracks, he's done political tracks, all sorts. And I like anything, done well. I prefer certain content over other content but... it's all about execution.

But it's not that easily defined. As some of his more apparently 'shtick' concepts, are deep.

There's eloquence and poetry and ingenious humour in all aspects of his content.

Something like "Criminal" you'd class as 'crazy' him but that's actually a brilliant idea, a brilliant concept, he makes a metaphor literal and it's psuedo-political brilliance. Which to me, is artistically deep. You can't categorize what he does as easily as you're trying to.

So there's no say... rock fans who heard of Em and vaguely liked the odd song, from the start and have roughly followed him but are not fully dedicated to every release?

Or no fans that listened to just the first two albums, and absolutely loved them but then lost interest and moved on? yet still totally love those first two?

i started listening to em between relapse and recovry tbh, but i consider myself a satn anyway because i listen to all his music now, probably mmlp the most at the moment but i listen to all his stuff.. so there was a time i fitted into this category, but now i have made my own lane
