A new D12 album is a much less interesting thing to anticipate.

Any suggestion they're going to be radically different lyrically or stylistically seems even more unlikely lately when you hear their 2011 mixtape and other recent tracks...

So what's it really going to be? well, it's just going to be another album full of verses about mugging people, drinking liquor and getting into bar fights, done in almost exactly the same way.

Which we've already had, done to what will almost certainly be much better effect, on Devil's Night. Also, Mr. Porter said they'd take a page out of Lady GaGa's book. And given Em's formula lately, what's likely? probably some cringing stabs at pop-rap ballads / singles, with awkward verses.

The guys in D12 are repetitive and boring. They're all good MCs except Bizarre, but MEH.

Eminem however, changes every single album. Relapse sounds NOTHING like anything he's ever done, and Recovery sounds NOTHING like Relapse. Every single album he finds a way to reinvent or evolve his sound in a major way and bring original ideas / technique to the table.

So a new Eminem album, could be anything. Especially given this upward creative climb he's on.

So I'd take a new Em album over a new D12 album any day.

I agree with Base. Not because I don't want to hear another D12 album (as long as it's like Devil's Night), but because Em solo albums are top on my 'priority list'.

Honestly, I like D12 and they're all dope MC's, but when a new D12 album comes out I always find myself fast forwarding to the Em verses before listening to the whole songs. So I'd prefer an Em album as long as it's not rushed, I just want as much new Em material before he quits in a few years.

Side note: You think when he dies/retires the record company will release a collection of songs that were never released? ie. Everybody's Looking At Me?
