 Arsenal

The fight for 4th is well funny. It's like none of them want it!

I'm going for the Geordies tbh.

Cahill completes Blues move

Finally! £7m is a bargain considering he's also a home grown player.

Now AVB, we have 15 days remaining in this transfer window.. sign us a creative midfielder or a winger! Just imagine Mata playing down the middle with a solid winger taking up his role.. my word the goals would be flying in.

No way Chelsea can afford to buy another expensive player, given the 75 million outlay last January.

I hope you do though, it would make financial fair play interesting...

I've already explained all of this. Do you really think Chelsea didn't have FFP in their minds when we spent all that money during the summer?

The main signings were..

Lukaku - up to £18m
Mata - £23.5m
Meireles - £13m (we were prepared to spend £40m on Modric)
Romeu - £4.35m

Totals to £58.85m

Do you really think Chelsea would splash near £60m without considering FFP? I bet even Roman has FFP in his mind.. that's why he wants to build a new stadium.

The Torres/Luiz transfers I believe are ignored by UEFA for Fair Play. It's a bit different for City though as you are in a far worse position. Correct me if I'm wrong but doesn't your WAGE BILL exceed your income?

Yep! With Courtois and Lukaku already here, that may be a factor he considers should Chelsea ever put in an offer for him.

£7.5m for Papiss Cisse. I absolutely adore our transfer policy. Literally NO-ONE saw this coming. Immense signing.

Ba and Cisse up front is going to be amazing. Wow.

That was certainty kept quiet! Although I can see Ba leaving at the end of the season. Doesn't he have a buyout clause? I bet the clause is ~ £15m max.

The speculation on Hazard's potential move to Chelsea seems to be gaining more momentum. I know it's extremely unlikely but I hope we at least put a bid in for him. Hazard down the left with Mata playing just behind Torres. :flutter: :flutter:

Torres and Luiz are ignored? What, that makes no sense.

We're in a worse position, sure, but Chelsea are similarly in the shit. We seemed to have stopped spending though, that's the only reason i'll be surprised if Chelsea don't cut back.

"Because the transfer fees for Torres and Luiz are spread over their five-and-a-half-year contracts in terms of the club's financial figures, the £75m spent will not come in one big hit."

I'm sure I read somewhere that they were (for lack of a better word) ignored. Either that or I totally misread it.

You're lucky that are best player is injured :(

I'm seriously not optimistic at all, RM did play good football on the last match but the player's don't seem to be focused at all, especially Ronaldo :zipped: Remember how RM coulda got 3 goals in the first half?

So like I always say, if we play calmly and smoothly and without pressure we'll sure win.

Which one?

To be honest, the way Barca has played lately, I don't see them winning this at all. Plus they have Pinto in goal, and...... yeah.

Pinto is just an excuse. The guy is a professional goalkeeper, so what`s the deal with "Pinto is playing this game"?

Because I don't like him, and when we have fully functionable Valdes, then rather him then Pinto.

But the cup is Pinto's game, so I guess it's fair for him to start.

Did I hear correctly? I can't remember the exact figure but the commentator said Barcelona got allocated less than 500 tickets? If that's correct, that is ridiculous lmao.

What a goal from Ronaldo.
