Eminem's delivery in Above The Law was terrible. Song's overrated as fuck.

2001 isn't that good.

Is this really an upopular opinion? This is a prime example of Em's worst delivery to date, in my opinion. In the weeks following of the release of HTS, I had the album in my regular "hiphop-playlist", and when this track came on, I always had to turn the volume down when Em's started spitting, because that screamy voice/delivery does some serious damage to one's ears! :n: ... And this comes from a person who listen to hardcore-metal/trash-metal etc... which contains a lot of screaming...

I don't see how Above the Law damages one's ears but screaming doesn't

Most of the screaming delivery I listen to is usually worse than anything Eminem has done.

- I don't like Nas' music but I consider him a great rapper regardless
- Wiz Khalifa is terrible and can go die
- I love the song "Mamacita" from Outkast's album "Aquemini" while many consider it the worst song
- I think "Cameras" is the best song from Drake's recent album
- While I love Watch The Throne, I feel like it is incredibly overrated
- Hell: The Sequel was underrated
- I think Kanye West is better than Jay-Z

If I come up with anymore I'll post them.

-tupac is overated (as many said)

- nas actually has no substance.. and dances around taboo topics, that make him sound meaningful

- gucci, ojayy, boosie, some travis porter.. are all good artists

- hip-hop really needs to stop reminiscing with washed up artists and bring on someone who's
young.new.raw and knows the meaning of sellout and poser..
baby bop, poptarts, sweethearts, retards.. shady like a palm tree..

I didn't mind the beat. Terrible hook. Andre had the only good verse. Rest ranged from below average to terrible.

But yeah, it's probably my least favorite of the album.

The whole 2pac overrated thing isn't just an unpopular opinion, but it is a FALSE statement. :facepalm I guess if your only 10 or 12 yrs old and didn't grow up listening to him, then you don't have that appreciation for good hip hop music. What Eminem is for the 2000's, is what 2pac was for the 90's. But if you weren't born until the late 90's, I guess you just don't understand.

born in '88, still think he's overrated.. you can't marginalize people by their age and then expect everyone older then 12 to get behind you.. especially in the "unpopular opinion" section... pac has a few bangers eg. that song he did with bone thugs..

ive studied "all eyes on me" and mehhh its ight... then again i'm not big on illmatic either (don't kill me)

What you don't understand is that no one is saying that Tupac wasn't a big influence, the biggest rapper or poet or whatever. We're talking about his mic skills, as pure emceeing. And he wasn't the best, and not even close to be.

most underground rappers end up staying "underground" because they aren't very good, not because they are too hardcore, or people who aren't real hip-hop don't get it, or because mainstream rappers suck, or because [insert the reason your favorite underground rapper hasn't made it big here].
