I'll always appreciate Recovery despite it's flaws.
Fuck top five, bitch, I'm top four
And that includes Biggie and Pac, whore
And I got an Evil Twin
So who the fuck do you think that third and that fourth spot's for?

Same.

It's that post confirmation shit (if it's still around, I mean, it might not be, I haven't had to deal with it since November or so)

It's still around. I know it can be annoying for new posters, but it's currently our main method to combat bots. Believe me, if the post confirmation feature wasn't active, this place would be rife with bots. If he's posted, it shouldn't take anymore than 24 hours for it to be approved anyway. :y:

Thanks for all the warm welcomes and positive replies. I've been a lurker for a long time but finally decided to join, and I'm glad I did. I guess the point of the post was to just share my thoughts on current slim shady and why I'm excited for what's next. Too much negativity lately. Thanks for being positive. I've been a loyal fan since 99, and Em's done nothing but good things for me.

So cheers! And here's to drinking a few and jamming the Slim Shady LP tonight.

I agree with this. I just want to add that I do believe he truly wanted to do Recovery over Relapse 2 because he began recording songs like So Bad, Seduction, Almost Famous, that had a very different sound than Relapse. And about the dislike to Relapse in songs, he has always criticized his prior work around the time he releases his new album.

I think Eminem Show and Recovery are the only ones that he's hasn't/isn't going to criticize because they're so personal to him, and they were probably the most theraputic for him to make.

Good point.
