Mentioning Kim's Name Situation?

What's the deal with Em being able to say her name on songs now? Is he still not allowed to mention her ?

Because im sure on the Westwood freestyle from 2009, he says ' If he dont give me Kim, things could get messy, pass that ass to me, let me squish the left cheek ... ' or something like that anyways.

So, can anyone enlighten me? Is it Kim he's talking about on that freestyle or not? And is he still not allowed to mention her ?

I thought they signed an agreement following their second divorce stating that he would have to refrain from using her name in songs. Makes sense since in the songs in Recovery he refers to her as "your mother" and not by name

If you listen to one of the leaked tracks, 50 Ways, it sounds like that was recorded very shortly after he signed that document as the song is clearly about her. "50 Ways...to diss you". He doesn't have to say her name.[/i]

Wasn't that song from 2003, 2004? He talks about her addiction & that was the time when she got arrested. I think she was clean after their 2nd divorce.

I never said he would talk shit about her. I was only curious...but there are ways he could obviously be dissing Kim but just not say her name. Take 25 To Life for instance...everyone thought it was about Kim at first until they reached the end of the song and he never said her name or really hinted anything about her...he just said he was married to this woman, so we all assumed it was Kim...right? That's an example of how we would know if it was about Kim or not. Ultimately the song isn't about Kim at all, but admit it...you thought 25 To Life was about Kim at first.
