I was pretty sad the day Zinedine Zidane retired.

I was even more sad when Ronaldo retired.

My favorite player of ALL TIME. I cried tears. :'(

I was 4, not knowing shit about football, but I loved him and the way he ran. Cried on worldcup 98, cried joy tears at WorldCup 2002, was happy as fuck when he broke the bestscorer in a worldcup record in 2006, and cried when he retired.

This guy.. uh. Everytime I watch a video of him playing, I get that adrenaline that makes me wanna play.

You mean the same day he headbutted Materazzi? The guy was an idiot for doing so, AMAZING player but very very stupid actions at times - he did it at Juventus too.

Well, Materazzi did say something really bad about his family though.
I am NOT saying it justifies it, and I wish Zidane's career would have a better ending, scoring the final goal of the penalties and winning for France...

He is still one of the greatest.

Too bad he is a Real Madrid dude :(

Man, when you watch the way he played...fuck...amazing. He was the only reason France made it so far that year too, btw.

ribery was also pretty good

Can't believe Saurez refused to shake Evra's hand! If anything it should be the other way round.

Both the Suarez-Evra/Terry-Ferdinand sagas are a sad indictment of the world we live in.

We are evolved primates, it's no wonder there's so much stupidity and ignorance.

It really depresses me.

The bigger man would have shaken his hand. If Evra did (or tried), so should Rio.

^ No, I think it's a good thing Ferdinand didn't. It's because Evra tried, and failed, that he ignored him.

Fuck suarez. :facepalm

LOL. To be fair, he hasn't been getting much to latch on to. Creativity in this Chelsea side without Mata in the middle is pretty much non-existent,
