edit: congrats amaranthine, and studying psychology is very interesting i prefer cognitive psychology, i wonder if in US you have to make your own analysis like in france when you start your studies.

Late to the thread but congratulations. I'm currently in my freshman year of college so the stress of choosing/applying/getting accepted to college is still fresh in my mind. Now is the part when you can breathe! If you're living on campus, good luck with the whole dorm and roommate situation... I got put with someone who is the complete opposite of me in every imaginable way and to say it has been hell would be an understatement. Buuuut college is fun anyway. Enjoy your last semester of high school!

Haha thanks. I don't know if I'm going there for sure, I applied to ten colleges and only two have sent letters so far, both acceptances. Most of them say they start sending notifications out after March 1, so I only have a few more days left before I can start expecting them. I'll be going wherever I get the best deal, though. I will be living on campus wherever I end up going, so I hope I get a good roommate. I'm not much of a people person, so...lol. We'll see.

Yeah, that is part of my problem too. I'm not a people person either and I didn't realize how much I appreciated personal space until I was forced to share it (and there certainly isn't much of it) with someone else. But that's the thing about college, it's not like you even have to stay in your room very much at all, if you don't want to. You can do whatever you like, whenever you like.

I got accepted last year, studying Pharm. D (Doctor of Pharmacy)...trying to get in Med-School after this semester finishes.

Thanks. I got my full financial aid package a few weeks ago and they're giving me $40k total, $30k just in grants and scholarships. About $1000 in work-study, and a few thousand in 0% interest loans. That leaves just $10k uncovered, which my family can afford to pay. I still haven't heard from any other places yet, I still have 8 schools left. UCSC notifies me next, on the 15th.

I'm studying at J.U.S.T (Jordan University Of Science & Technology), it's the best middle-eastren college and it's ranking is 610 worldwide (which is GREAT). I'm living the dream, my Uni is just awesome (i think i posted some photos of the library in the post a picture of yourself thread). The worst thing is their exams, I took a Physiology exam today and got 20/30 and i'm pretty thankful for that, heard that no one got more than 25

And incase you're wondering, we study in English...Doctors never speak in arabic during lectures.
