I was gonna make a thread, it's actually a fuckin FANTASTIC album. I hadn't spun it in months and I was taken aback by it.

There were honestly like...5-8 punchlines that were just like "meh" and the rest of the album was amazing.

It is a great album. I only wish it was more of an album, it had more a bumped up mixtape cause of the somewhat random feel to the songs content and obv the diff producers throughout didnt help.

Good point on GTC to 25 to life. Only song on there i dont really enjoy is so bad, cause i love superman and its got the same sorta feel/style but doesnt meet up to superman.

I still think his verse on no love may be one of his greatest, simply for the flow, energy, and lose yourself/till i collapse feel with a faster flow. his rhymes on there arent insane but they are sooo nice for that song. gets me hyped every time.

In that "Lyrical Appreciation" thread Innovation and I made, we did the song "No Love" and he actually has more rhymes then I originally caught, so I'm convinced it's one of his best verses. The energy is undeniable, the flow is just nastyyy and his rhymes are tight as fuck. Plus his 'spit on these pussies' line is hilarious.

I just wish it had more of an..Eminem beat, I guess. The song coulda been a HUGE banger if he had TES production.

to me its the closest to TES than any other album by him. if he produced it who knows how great it woulda been. it def was diff tho than any other album for a lotta reasons. I just hope his next album brings it again and he comes with a whole new style

Definitely. I feel like if Eminem just put out random albums, they'd be all have the TES feel because...SSLP was an introduction to his alter-ego, MMLP was the reaction to SSLP's reaction, Encore was just...I don't know, and Relapse was re-introducing Shady.

Besides TES and Recovery, it seemed like all the other albums could only be one time things so that's probably why the two probably feel alike. But yeah, I hope Em has something up his sleeve.

Yeah idk TES is by the far my fav em album, and will be hard to duplicate or come close, but recovery was a damn good contender. I wish he did a song like who killed hip-hop, a long ass song, no hook, where he talks about everything that went on throughout his career, where styles/flows change and he kills it lyrically

"Despicable" was absolutely fuckin monstrous. I don't mind Em not releasing albums that much, but if he dropped something like THAT every 3 or 4 months, I'd be happy.

I always thought about that too, why not release random short verses every now and then just to always keep hype.

Despicable was beyond insane, every line was dope, and the majority of it was beyond sick, just a classic track by em.

Yup. I really wish he released "Fly Away" as an official song, it was very very very good and also would have been a great pre-Recovery track to put out.

Plus he executed that Brett Favre line perfectly, unlike in "I'm On Everything".

I always felt like Fly Away should have been the last song on Recovery instead of Untitled.
