Increasing the gap on Chelsea in the coming years? I doubt it's going to be that drastic. This season has been a horror season for us, but as long as we grab 4th place, I'm sure we'll pick up pace next season. Hopefully we will appoint a quality manager who will make some drastic changes in the summer. It's needed.
You can't rule out a team in the future on the basis of one bad season, especially given the transition we've been going through. To be fair, we're still in the FA Cup and have a good chance of winning it.
