That's what I thought, but I mean, it's relevant in that we at least get to hear the beat and tempoEmadyville wrote:Geno wrote:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BQ55Wz_d1Ck

Honestly, I think he is better than ever currently. He's mature, stable, grounded and fully aware of where he stands as an artist and who he is to our culture.
I also think that he's more focused and driven than ever. Not to mention he's sober and he's actually able to be a father these days.
And from a purely musical standpoint, I think he has found himself again. And now he has a plethora of styles to choose from. You'll see in this BET cypher that he's perfectly capable of going back to vintage Shady if he so chooses to (and I wouldn't be surprised to find out that he has a ton of rhymes left over from that period, and he's probably very capable of recreating them).
I think a lot of you are wrong in the sense that you think he is unable to replicate his younger self. But look at it from the standpoint of just being a human being -- Doing the same thing in anything eventually gets boring. And I think for Em he's really striving to see how far he can push himself as an artist in regards to creativity. And that's where we're getting all these different styles/voices/rhyme structures. And frankly, I wouldn't have it any other way. For the first time ever he seems truly resilient as not only an artist, but as a person in general.
TL;DR: The current Em is far superior due to what he has endured in his career as a younger artist, and armed with this knowledge, he is doing music purely out of passion now. He has nothing to prove.
Hip-hop is his playground now. Not a battlefield.
