i believe you are. you can make all the points above but,

the rhymes arnt great. their all small vocab/ words he uses commonly.
the chorus is nice, but lets face it Em is good at singy hooks. all he does now really.
shock value. not really, it was a comedic twist on his bad family situation, and drifts into random lines
about the fucked up things he does.
and Dre beat aint really much to say anymore. especially when most of relapse was Dre's

I prefer Hello, Stay Wide Awake (mainly cos I just get lost in those flows)

The songs I mentioned probably take flow, rhyming and (imo Hooks).
and as story telling tracks go I prefer SSAD

If it wasn't on Relapse I'd say it would be held in a bit higher regard than it is.. So to speak. But being his best post comeback... I don't know. It's not my favorite but it's just to hard to ever say best. As a specific term when it comes to music, anyhow..

I've always like it and do quite a lot even since the first time I heard it. Along with Relapse in general though.

It's unfortunate people can't just judge songs and shit in general for what they are instead of what said artists has done prior.

It's a great song for sure. The delivery is one of his best since comeback along with Warning, Underground and Deja Vu.

Had some funny moments. The storytelling was enjoyable in the verse, especially that's he's playing more than one character with different voices.

It's not his best since comeback though. Deja Vu and My Mom are better.

Well, i've always felt "My Darling" ticks all those boxes with a greater fictional reality.

Great song though and i personally prefer it being on Relapse. One of the few highlights.

No, you're right. it is one of his best songs since his comeback,
back in 09 when I wanted to animate a song off of relapse I carefully analyzed each one and decided to go with this one, now it's 12 and it's still not finished, but I do plan to release it eventually - it will be nutz!

I think you can only compare like to like.

There isn't really a 'best' to me out of them as I'd have to say...

'Best introspective' or 'best conceptual' etc.

I can't compare "Insane" to "Space Bound" for example. The subject-matter and intent are too different. "Insane" isn't up there for me though. Yeah it's got a great flow and good rhyming etc. but meh. I don't want 'classic feel' either, I want something new, every time.

"Almost Famous" or "Cinderella Man" are probably my top 2 favourite since comeback.
